Also shows the edge of Stirling Gardens on the left edge, and Barrack St Jetty and Perth Esplanade at the base of Barrack St. Jarrah pickets on the fence on the north side of St Georges Terrace were required by the Perth City Council as standard fencing material.
On this site in the early 1960s stood the tallest structure in Perth at that time the T & G (The Temperance & General Mutual Life Insurance Company) building.
