How to Get An Image URL

Google Images

Do a search on images.google.com for the image you want to find.

Right-click the image.

Depending on what system you’re using, select the image URL by clicking one of these:

  • Chrome: Copy image address.
  • Safari: Copy image address.
  • Internet Explorer: Properties Copy the URL address shown.

Facebook

Right-click the image and click the option to copy its URL.

Depending on the browser you use, the options read:

  • Chrome: Copy Image Address.
  • Firefox: Copy Image Location.
  • Safari: Copy Image URL.
  • In Internet Explorer, click the “Properties” option and copy the URL from the Properties window.

Flikr

  • Click a photo to open it.
  • Click the Download icon.
  • Click View all sizes.
  • Click on the size you want to see.
  • Right-click the image.
  • Select Copy Image Location or Copy Image URL (text may vary per browser).

From a Webpage

Right-click the image and select:

  • Chrome: Copy Image Address.
  • Microsoft Edge: Copy Image Link.
  • Firefox: Copy image location.
  • Safari: Copy.
